Reason from the structure of the calculations. Where a shared term or a compensation change is enough, avoid calculating both complete answers.
Three modes
- Compare: choose
<, > or =, then justify which result changes.
- Keep the result: complete an equal calculation using valid addition compensation or constant difference.
- Complete & justify: find a missing number, operation or relationship, including inequalities with more than one solution.
Support and feedback
Models can show registered model support immediately, introduce it after Hint 2, or keep the task symbols only. Hint first identifies useful shared structure, then shows the amount and direction of change. Check checks both the response and the explanation. Reveal is separate.
Reset actions
Clear response keeps the current task and teacher choices. New generates a fresh unseen question within those choices and does not repeat a question during the page session. Reset restores the approved starting task, including any Curriculum setup.
Teacher worksheet
Print Worksheet opens a teacher-account resource with four relational-reasoning questions, optional guided or deepen prompts, and an optional matching answer page. The header Print control still prints the current display.
Numerical answers accept a physical keyboard. On a touch display, tap the input deliberately to open the shared number pad.
