Choose a Year, Topic, Level and Challenge. Turn two cards, decide whether they have the same mathematical value, and be first to call Snap.
- Choose Turn cards. Every revealed pair adds two cards to the middle pot.
- If the cards match, Player 1 chooses SNAP! or presses A; Player 2 chooses SNAP! or presses L. The first accepted input wins the pot.
- If they do not match, choose No match. The cards turn down and the pot carries forward.
- A false Snap gives the pot to the other player. If No match is chosen for an equivalent pair, the cards stay visible until somebody Snaps.
Foundation games have 5 pairs and 3 matches, Early games have 8 pairs and 4 matches, and Standard games have 12 pairs and 5 matches. The final pair always matches, so the last pot is claimed. New game keeps the current Year, Topic, Level and Challenge but creates a fresh card sequence.
