Choose Mode: Build the family, Which one doesn’t belong?, or Sort the families.
Build the family: use the blue starting fact to choose and solve four more connected facts. The fractional card comes last.
Which one doesn’t belong? three of four cards use the starting division fact. Tap the outsider, read the explanation, then choose Next round. Hint helps you compare; equal numerical answers alone do not make a family.
Sort the families: tap a card, then its family button or area, or drag it there. Correct cards move under their starting fact. A wrong placement stays in the pool. Tap the selected card again to clear selection. Sort all six cards, then choose Next round. Keyboard: use Tab and Enter or Space on a card and its family button.
New starts a fresh round in the current mode. Restart repeats the same starting cards and order. Changing Mode starts a fresh unsolved round. All modes can be played alone or cooperatively, with no timer.
The following answer controls apply to Build the family.
- Choose one of the three cards that uses the starting division fact with a new unit or scale. Equal answers alone do not make a family.
- Work out that card's answer. Keep its unit; enter a numerator and denominator for a fraction. Check answer or press Enter. A correct answer joins your family and the next choices appear.
- The fractional card comes last. Hint helps you think about the units. Show answer reveals only the current answer and labels it as shown. Clear input clears only your current answer.
- Your family is complete at five facts, including the starting fact. Discuss what changed and what stayed the same. Extra challenge is optional; Back to family leaves it without losing your completed family.
- New starts a fresh challenge with a different starting fact. Restart repeats the same choices and order with your answers cleared. Play alone or cooperate; there is no timer or competitive score.
- Share this setup preserves Mode and starts a fresh game without sharing answers, cards, placements or progress. Print includes only the current display. Use Tab and Enter or Space for buttons; numerical fields also support the shared on-screen keypad.
