Choose Snap for two players, or Think and prove to play on your own or with a partner.
- In Think and prove, choose Match if the cards have equal value, or No match if they do not.
- Prove it: simplify the left card. Enter the number you divide by, then the new top and bottom numbers. Press Check step. Keep any whole part unchanged.
- You can simplify in small steps. Keep going until the fraction is fully simplified. If you change your mind, choose again. Then press Next pair.
- Stuck? Hint helps you start. Show me displays a worked step. There is no timer.
- In Snap, turn the cards together. Player 1 uses SNAP or A; Player 2 uses SNAP or L. The first correct claim wins the cards in the middle. A wrong claim gives them to the other player.
- No match carries the pile forward. A missed match stays up until someone claims. There are nine pairs; the last always matches. Most cards wins.
- New game gives a fresh deal at the same difficulty. Restart this deal replays the same cards. Changing a setting starts a fresh game.
- Share this setup shares your play mode and card choice. It opens a fresh unsolved game. Print fits the current display on one A4 landscape page.
- Use Tab to move between controls and Enter or Space to use them.
- Opened from a curriculum step? The label above the choices shows your step. New game keeps the cards matched to that learning.
