How to use Addition and Subtraction Representations
Choose addition or subtraction from the toolbar.
Use the steppers to change the numbers in the calculation.
Compare the same calculation across the part-whole model, bar model, counters, ten frames and number line.
Tap any representation to enlarge it. Choose Open interactive tool to continue with its dedicated teaching surface.
When a calculation bridges through ten, the counters, ten frames and number line show that structure.
The overview keeps totals within 20 so every representation remains clear. Use the dedicated tools for wider ranges and additional teaching modes.
Print Worksheet prints a blank labelled representations grid on one side of landscape A4. Write a number fact at the top, then draw it in every box. The header Print button still prints the current filled display.
